My bunny fursona floating

This is very important

The cool part about having more than one fursona, which I use to represent myself, is thinking: How does this work? What is the explanation? Do I care about an explanation?

The answer I've arrived to is "yes, I do care, fuck it".

SO, here are some facts I've made up about them:

For now, the images below are placeholders. I may replace them with drawings made for this in the future... I may also just delete this disclaimer and pretend it was never here.

    These are not separate beings

  • "Ray Karr" refers to both the bunny and the lucario.
  • No body is the "real" body.
  • This is not shapeshifting, as both bodies exist at the same time.
  • Their bodies do not belong to a hive mind, they simply have one mind.
  • Their consciousness does not "jump" from one body to the other.
  • Both bodies share memories, as they also share the same consciousness.
  • The bunny and lucario do not mirror each other's movement, each part of each body can be moved independently.
  • When Ray says "I," it can, and usually does, refer to both bodies.
  • If needed, the bunny and lucario can be referred to separately.
  • If, for example, the bunny's left arm is hurt, the pain will not also be felt on the lucario's left arm, just like how if your left arm were hurt, the pain would not also be felt on your right arm.

Day-to-day living

Generally, only one body goes out at a time. They can both come out, but it's usually more convenient to have one stay inside. If you see one go quiet or get distracted at nothing, the other is probably playing videogames at home.

Eating, hunger, thirst and going to the bathroom are all confined to one of the bodies. If the bunny is hungry, that won't go away when the lucario eats, and if the lucario drinks water, it's the lucario that'll need to go pee. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of which body is hungry, and it's expensive to have to eat for two, but it's mostly fine.

The only thing that is shared between both bodies is energy. There's no such thing as one body sleeping while the other's awake. If Ray Karr goes to sleep, Ray Karr goes to sleep. This doesn't apply to physical exhaustion, though both bodies usually rest if one of them is beat.

Another difficult aspect is meeting new people. They meet Ray Karr, the bunny and when they tell them the lucario's also Ray Karr, they think it's a joke. So, they do the same routine every time: "one of my bodies will go out, you tell the other one something, and I'll repeat it through the other body so you know we're the same person."

People don't usually believe it right away and, once they do, it takes a while for them to get comfortable around the body they met second.

They like to cuddle temself to sleep.
