Website update + what have I been up to?
This latest update is pretty small, but I still have some words to spew about what my plans for my website are (if they can be called "plans" lol), why I've updated so little this year, and what I'm going through in general.
The short version is: I've uploaded some art, updated my CD collection, added new socials, and wrote this article detailing what I've done since March and what my plans for (mainly) this site are.

I've been drawing less, posting less, updating less
90% of it is that I just find myself with less free time and energy to play with. Right now, I'm at the last year of my university course, hoping to become a professional interpreter while still feeling like I haven't been properly taught how to get out there. Work has also gotten much, much more demanding (as I'm writing this, I spent all day dealing with work overflow and constant last minute orders), and I've been pouring a lot of my passion into the PAWX project: We're hoping to host a second art market (PAWXCRAFT) this coming October, and to finish up the third edition of our fanzine (PAWZINE).
I found that, on top of drawing much less and being tired all the time, I barely played any videogames or read any books! The wrost part about having a shitload of things to do is that they take a hold of your mind and make you feel like you're wasting time if you're not doing anything productive. So, videogames became something I'd shamefully play when I didn't have the energy to draw, do homework, etc, and books became something I'd only read on commutes (it's already the main place I read in, but it got harder to sit down at home and read).
The period between mid-March and late June became a frenzy that ended in a total crash, as I realized that I'd been neglecting some basic well-being activities, seeing and talking to people less, and going "I'll do it once I have some free time" at anything that wasn't urgent. My brain became so used to functioning at high levels of stress that, once my winter break came, I lost all my energy for almost all of it. Additionally, I put a lot of care and passion into most of the things I was busy with, and feeling productive is very rewarding, so coming down from it was emotionally tiring as well. Looking back now, though, I feel quite proud of what we've achieved.
What we've achieved
PAWXCRAFT! And pepping for ArFF.
We held our art market on March 11th of 2026. It was fucking awesome! We got so many people that the place we rented for the day was overflowing and people had to hang out outside. Everyone was having tons of fun. The vendors sold a shitload of art and made a good profit, since we made a point of being cheap (unfortunately, most art markets are pretty expensive these days). We ourselves managed to not spend more than we made somehow. And... we were invited to sell at Argentina FurFiesta's Artist's Alley.
In case you don't know, ArFF is the biggest furry convention in the country, held every June in Buenos Aires. I went there last year and had a fantastic time! Some of the organizers are chuds, but most of them are genuinely cool as fuck. I'm writing this to say that we all had some reservations about attending. Additionally, only Luna (the main PAWX organizer and PAWZINE writer) and I had tickets; and three months to plan, manufacture and prepare what would be our very first merch stand while holding our jobs was absolutely nuts. Still, the excitement overcame it all and we said yes!
Thus, we spent the remainder of March, April, May and early June prepping. We wanted to have the first, second and third edition of our PAWZINE, stickers, patches, and pins and, somewhere along the way, we had the idea to make a compilation of the furry music recommended in the first PAWZINE, and sell CDs of SEXPORE's EP, since a member of the band was a part of our group. We were also invited by HowlCon, a new furcon that started this year in La Plata, to cover them for our zine and give a presentation! So, while one part of the team focused on HowlCon, I started contacting every artist to ask for authorization to include them in our mixtape compilation CD.
Some would be an automatic yes, but I still wanted to ask them in case someone at ArFF questioned why we were selling a CD of other people's music. We got a yes from Patricia Taxxon, Vylet Pony, MIDI Bunny and Pent Up Pup, a no from MKNZ and This Is The Glasshouse, and a yes from Ashley Ninelives on the condition that we used only one track. Kalus Guerano was now a member of PAWX, and he was very excited to have his music on a piece of physical media. I had also asked other artists in case we could get enough for another volume, and we got a yes from A.J. Vega (whom I had originally contacted as a member of MIDI Bunny) and I've Made Too Much Pasta (holy shit??? (he even checked out our zine and wanted one!! (holy shit????))). I also took care of most of the design for the CD case, which was heavily inspired by an album I really like (I'll see if I remember to include the pictures below lol).
But ArFF had some issues
Besides the aformentioned chuds, and some rumours that I won't spread as they haven't been confirmed or made public by the people involved (which were already enough for some of the group members to prefer not attending at all), there were a few concerns and an incident that almost made us drop out entirely. Firstly, ArFF is already not great about keeping out people known for being pests; plenty of people avoid the convention to not run into their abusers or groomers. What displeased us in particular was that one of the guests of honour would be a pretty big artist who also sexually harassed some people we know.
However, the worst of it was when the list of vendors at the dealer's den was announced and we saw the name of a predator who's groomed a bunch of minors and whose current boyfriend was a minor when they started dating (from what I've heard, he's in his 30s). This was someone we had to kick out of our vendors at PAWXCRAFT, as we found out he was a predator after giving him a spot by people more involved with these aspects of the local furry scene. The ArFF organizers have been a part of the local furry scene for years, and the convention itself has been a thing since 2019; I think that the person or people in charge of the dealer's den knew and/or didn't care enough, and that nobody else in that group stepped in to keep this from happening.
After the immediate backlash, they took their post down, reuploaded the announcement without his name a few hours later, and then took several days to draft a shit response that did not recognise the responsibility of a convention to keep their space safe from predators but hid behind obtusely gesturing at legal obligations due to the charges that guy had been pressed with by past victims.
We were pissed, but after much thinking and debating, we decided against leaving. The guy did have his table revoked, and we would get much more from participating in the community, bringing our voice and not staying silent about how ArFF fucked up than we would just leaving and picking a fight with everyone, involved or not. I'm glad we stayed, but if I had gone back in time to March 11th knowing what I know now, I would've said no, and I think I'd say no if we were offered the same deal next year.
Our stand did pretty well!!
The CDs flew off of our hands, we ran out of colour fanzines, some prints and pins, and we managed to get back our initial investment! Waking up early as fuck to sell was not fun at all, but the act of selling was super fun. Most people just wanted Generic Furry Product, but there were a few who really vibed with our more DIY shit. We'd finish the day feeling exhausted but super accomplished.
our little chud stand on the first and second day of the dealer's den
The convention itself was also really nice! I had the surreal experience of being recognized for being a part of PAWX, I hung out with a set group of people more, and I saw some more kink-positive stuff this year! I was also recognized by someone... for this website!!!! Turns out Jazzy, another local furry with an awesome website had found mine in the fucking furryring of all places! Fucking crazy!! Awesome!!! Hello, if you're reading this!!!!
Speaking of my website:
I think I'm going to overhaul the look of it sometime in the future. The site is plastered with my old fursonas, and I could always use a new site design...
I don't need the main page to have such a long update mini-section, I'm not going to keep up the yearly scrapbook idea I started last year, I'm not going to write a review of everything I watch, read and play.
The most important thing, however, is making new assets that reflect my newer fursonas. That will come in due time... whenever I have the time, energy and willpower.
I'll also bite the bullet and use a third-party website to make a guestbook, why not? I'm not gonna figure out the functionality myself lol.
For now, I've made a Letterboxd to keep track of what I've seen and want to see.
I avoided making a Letterboxd profile for the longest time, thinking "well, I'll put my thoughts about movies on my site" but then I realised while talking with some university classmates that I kinda like going to other people's profiles and checking what they put in there... wouldn't it be cool to have that too? If there's actually something I have to say about a movie, I'll post the full review here.
Finally, I want to have a website and furry exclusive email address that is completely separate from my human society email address. I've made an account on a non-google provider, but they won't let me use Thunderbird to manage it, so it has sat unused for anything other than a Final Fantasy XIV account :c
Expect the bigger changes to come sometime within the next millenia. I'll make an archive of my site before changing everything so that anything deleted is still accessible :3
